For over fifteen years, Bharathi Vidyashram has been a second home for the youngest children of Iyer Bungalow — a calm, caring place to grow, wonder and belong.
It started with one room and a clear belief.
In 2009, a small group of educators in Madurai opened Bharathi Vidyashram with a handful of children and a single idea: early education should be unhurried, beautiful and deeply caring — never rushed, never crowded.
We named the school after Subramania Bharathi, the poet who wrote for children and believed in raising them fearless and free.
We have chosen to stay small. It is the reason families return, and recommend us to the people they love.
